Here’s a peek into my creative process: a comparison of the storyboard/animatic with the final trailer. As a director, I find storyboarding and animatics crucial—they help me clearly convey my vision to clients and address the technical aspects of the project. Ensuring everything is feasible and aligns with the budget is key, while still striving for top-notch artistry.
I start with quick thumbnails in tvpaint, then create the shots with precise timing. For editing, I use DaVinci Resolve, where I also add temporary music and SFX. When possible, I compose the music myself to make sure it perfectly captures the intended mood.
